Traditional methods in modern agriculture

A’Putatura

In order to increase grape production, grape vines need to be pruned back to a single cane with two to three buds per cane

Tirare Maddiola

Trimmed canes are pulled out from the grape vine

’Taccari Lannanti

Remaining canes are gently tied to the trellis system being very careful not to break it while curving them.

’Taccari Magghiola

In order to favorite the growth of the fruits, even the single buds are tied to the trellis system.

Munnatura

Once grapes start to grow, we remove exceeding leaves and the tiniest clusters.

Spruddiatura

Sometimes it may happen that clusters grow stacked into the trellis system. For these reason we help clusters descends vertically to help them grow.

Spamminatura

Part of leaves are trimmed to let the clusters absorb the maximum amount of sap.

Sgrappolamento

The tiniest berries are manually removed in order to shape clusters to become aesthetically perfect for the harvest.
